Yoga Training

I was initially trained in Iyengar Yoga, developed by yoga master BKS Iyengar which focuses on precision, alignment and safety in each posture. It builds strength, flexibility, stamina and balance. Over the years of teaching yoga I have blended other styles, but continue to maintain Iyengars strong principles.
Why do Yoga?

The short answer is that yoga makes you feel better. Practicing the postures, breathing exercises and meditation makes you healthier in body, mind and spirit, no matter what your level of flexibility. Research shows that yoga helps decrease fatigue, depression, headaches and other stress related conditions. At the same time yoga will improve muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina, lower fat, Improve circulation, stimulate the immune system and create a sense of well being and calm.
I will create a class to meet each individuals need and levels of expertise.

Book a package of 10 sessions, recieve a 10% discount and at the end of the program I will present you with your own sequence and the skills needed to continue practicing on your own. I also offer a follow up service for re-assessments and ways to intensify/modify your program.
